I couldn’t sleep last night and ended up watching a whole “Dean Graziosi” infomercial. I’ve decided Dean is not a transsexual at all. Instead, “he” is clearly a woman who is just pretending to be male. There is nothing really masculine about her; she’s feminine in her appearance and demeanor. No surgery or male hormones going on there. I’ll bet she simply thinks she’ll be taken more seriously in her line of business if people think she’s a guy. Sadly, she is probably right.

I don’t really understand why you all insist on calling Dean “she”. If Dean is transgender, and a biological female, he clearly identifies as male and uses male pronouns. You should like or dislike him based on his product, not on his gender. What the hell difference does it make to you. Use this as an opportunity to educate yourself. Saying “Of course, I have no problem with transsexuals, and I applaud Mr. Graziosi for making it so far” does actually mean anything when for the rest of your blog you are using female pronouns. Please set the bar a little higher if you have any kind of readership to feel proud of.

In response to the last two questions, I don’t know when/if there will be a fourth season of Weeds, but I think we would have heard if it was the series finale we were watching a few months ago. Dexter (on the same network) is resuming in September, so that’s probably when we’ll see Weeds return.
As for Dean Graziosi, I don’t know anything about his/her program, or whether it’s legit. But I don’t think someone should be shut down simply for being transgendered. Why would they be?
